BT to EE

I am in a BT contract for 900GB at £62 per month.

I get a text from EE offering me 900GB at £26.99 a month. Perhaps EE don't know I am with BT.

The question is would I be permitted to switch to EE at the lower rate?

Is BT trying to move customers to EE?

I have just moved from BT to EE while still in contract with BT, saving £30 a month. BT is moving customers to EE.
