I have a Samsung Galaxy A32 and I am with EE. This is driving me mad, but whenever I get an incoming call it only rings for a few short seconds and I can never get to it in time. Even if it is in my hand I still don't have enough time to answer it.
What I very much need is to increase the number of rings or call duration to about 30 seconds before it goes into voice mail. I have seen many suggestions but none of then work. I'm thinking this is phone model related.
I should point out I am very advanced on years and speed is no longer in my action plan.
THank you

Hi @catstycam
Welcome to the community.
The network standard is 20 seconds ringing time. Some devices allow you to change it to 30 seconds by typing a code into the keypad, but others don't. It sounds like you're already tried that.
You have the option of removing the voicemail feature completely so that the phone keeps ringing. To do that, text VM OFF to 150.

Ok, thanks @catstycam
Try typing this directly into your phone's keypad (you may need to hit the call button too):
**61*07953222222**20#
If that works, it should change it to 20 seconds.

I have a Samsung A53. Can I change the time before voicemail or not? I have tried the code. Makes no difference. Please can you help with an alternative way.
I want to keep Voicemail on

Hi @AC-278
The network standard is 20 seconds ringing time, does the device ring for this long before going to voicemail?
If so and the code is not working for you, this would be the longest the device will ring for.
Leanne.

Couldn't agree more, make it 30 seconds default.
