eSim not working in new handset

Hi i recently bought a new iphone 15 (unlocked) from apple. It says my EE UK eSim ported across but its not working. I am currently in the US. what do i need to do to get it re-activated?

@Phil3699  That’s because you’re not in the UK.  You can do nothing about this while outside the UK.     The eSim still has to activate and that can not be done on a roaming network.
