Returned Phone - Charged £440

Hi. I have an annual upgrade contract and get the new iPhone Pro Max every year. This year delivery of the new phone took over a month, during this time I was receiving reminders to return the existing phone which I didn’t do until I got the new one just before Christmas. Fast forward to February and I have been charged £440 extra on my bill!!!!

 

i have raised the complaint via chat multiple times but got nowhere. Called last week and then received a text today advising case closed with zero information provided. 

Can anybody help? I am tempted to cancel my direct debit zu force them to contact me? £440 is too much to lose. 

Safe to say EE will lose a customer over this.

I am very sorry to hear this has happened. 

Did you return the phone in the packaging provided and get a receipt from the post office?
