My phone says data limited 5GB exceeded but logged in says 18GB of 24GB?

I don't understand why these are different and what is setting the 5GB on my phone now when other months I have gone over this with no impact.  Any ideas welcome.

@ZoeZoZo   The settings within your device have nothing to do with your allowance you receive from EE they are not linked together.    The settings within your device are user preset settings so you can keep a rough eye on your data usage.  Your EE account tracks the usage better but it doesn’t report this back to show on your device settings
