I'm going to WFH in Spain for a week at a time a handful of times a year. No broadband out there, have previously tethered off my phone and burned through my data allowance. Would one of the EE 4G PAYG wifi routers be a reliable, cost effective way to get online? Any other options? Thanks

Hi @Phine_anne
What tariff are you on now.
The problem is that you still be limited to EE roaming limits/costs the same as your mobile tariff and therefore you wouidnt benefit from a mobile broadband solution.
I would consider a local sim to benefit from the Spanish network if i was a regular visitor as that would be the best option.
Thanks

Hi @Phine_anne
Thanks for coming here.
Pay as go SIM cards have a fair usage policy for data when Roaming of 25GB, and to use data you would need a roam like home add-on.
Please see Pay As You Go charges for roaming in the EU, for more details.
