Just asked EE Support if I could reduce my unlimited Data Limit that I never use to its full capacity in order to help reduce my monthly account costs.
I was told that I would have to pay £548 upgrade fee before I could reduce my data limit. Why would I want to pay an additional £548 when I was trying to reduce my bill. My reply was my account expires in December this year, so I will wait until then, and I will be moving to O2 which the rest of my family are registered with and apparently they are much more flexible than EE who are becoming much too expensive to stay with.

You can't downsize midterm w/out paying Early Termination Fees to cancel your contract.
