Out of date contract

I'm still paying an over the top fee for a contract that ended two years ago. I'd like to upgrade my iPhone 11 and change to more realistic contract. How do I do this? The website is extremely unhelpful and non-intuitive. Failing this, how do I end my contract so I can move to a more helpful provider?

These mobile contracts don't just end, just the min. term expires. They are not fixed term contracts. After the min. term they just carry on at the same price on a rolling 30-days' notice basis until you explicitly cancel, upgrade or port your no. away. There will however be a 10% discount after 3 months.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC => 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC => 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC => 2022: EE 80 Meg FTTC (no landline number)

Thanks for the info: not unexpected that it continues.  However, on my account page there are no options to do any of those things, and it explicitly says I am not eligible for an upgrade "yet", but doesn't say when I will be. It's just a dead end, with no clue or options on how to proceed.

Text UP to 150 for confirmation of your upgrade eligibility.

If you're outside your minimum term but don't want a new phone, then changing to a SIM-only plan will reduce your monthly cost.
