Return of Router/hub

I moved from EE on 18 March and received a message that I "may" be sent bag to return my EE router/hub. So far no bag has arrived, and the Community Link to EE Returns does not work. The chat line doesn't seem to be working, and I'm not inclined to spend time phoning EE. Since I have had the router/hub for over five years is it still required for return, or can I just recycle it.

If it's an EE Smart Hub or newer (listed in following link) then follow https://ee.co.uk/help/orders/return-and-recycle-ee-product . If you have not received a return bag you may call 0330 123 1105 for 1.

Otherwise for a BrightBox or earlier, it is yours to keep or otherwise to dispose of.

@izziememe   which router do you have?

The requirement to return routers is a fairly recent thing. so if you did not get a request to return the router, recycle it - or even sell it on your chosen selling site.

Thank you, the hub was supplied by EE and according to your link if it was supplied before April 2023 no charges apply. I’ve had it well over five years so I guess EE will not want it back. It says on the back that it is a EESmart Hub

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & trust it is now sorted.
