iMessage & FaceTime not accepting my EE number

Hi there. My iphone iMessage & FaceTime apps haven’t been working as they do not accept my number which is linked to my ee monthly paying account.Software has been updated to 16.0.3 which is the latest update provided by Apple. Wallet keeps on playing up and I haven’t been using it since I’ve bought the phone last year as I have realised the “ constant bugs  on my software “. Please get in touch with a solution as I only use my iPhone SE 2020 at the moment with my account also only one number. thanks

Have you got iMessage and FaceTime activated within Settings?

 

Does mobile date work for you?

Hi there Jon,

Thanks for your reply.

A message comes up on the the screen every time I try to activate iMessage & FaceTime : “ An error occurred during activation. Try again”.
I’m not sharing my ICloud account with others an odd message appeared on my main screen “ Juliana Family member “. I have not authorised anyone to set me as “ family member” as my ICloud account is for my own use ONLY!!Also I do not share my EE account with absolutely anyone - So who has invaded my privacy ?

This is a serious matter and I appreciate your help .
