Sony Xperia 1iii Call Waiting has Disabled

I have recently noticed that when I am on a call, I am not getting notified if another call is trying to get through. I used to have the new call show on my phone screen and have the option to place my original call on hold, hang up or cancel the incoming new call. now, whoever is calling 2nd just gets my voicemail and I don't get a missed call notification either. Its like the 2nd call never happened. I have followed the instructions from Sony for the call waiting function but it is already switched on. Any ideas are greatly received.  😁

I have an IPhone and have just checked under settings and then scrolled down to phone, there I can decide whether I want call waiting or not, not sure about Android, but maybe the same is for you to go into settings and check there and make sure it is switched on.
