Sim packed in cant contact EE

My sim isn't registering that it's in my phone I have been unable to call or receive calls or texts based on this. Can't contact EE as no live chat available. I've tried upgrading as I am due but to complete they have to get you to confirm a pin they text you but obviously I can't receive it. What can I do? 

I have no home phone either.
