Not registered on network

I received my EE sim 2 days ago, when I make a call from my mobile , its say not registered on network. I get very frustrated because I only have my mobile. I would like someone to help me as soon as possible

Is your SIM on a contract plan or pay as you go? Have you tried restarting the phone?
