Hi there, I upgraded phone yesterday to an all rounder device plan (I went from a contract to sim and paying my device separately). I’m using the same SIM as before and have already sent my old phone back to trade in. But I can’t seem to make calls or receive calls. I wasn’t sent a new sim as was told that I’ll still be on the same SIM.
I want to call 150 to speak to someone but can’t do that 😆
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Does your phone show a connection to EE's mobile network? You've been correctly advised that a change of priceplan does not require a new SIM.
A connection to the mobile network, or use of WiFi-calling, is required to make or receive calls.

Hi Briatolian, thanks for getting back to me quick. I have WiFi calling enabled but it doesn’t shown a connection to EE network, but when this sim was in my previous phone, the EE network showed up.
do I need to active the sim perhaps? Even if it’s the same one?

You should be able to use the old SIM, @Esteph
Could you try doing a manual network search please?
Tap Settings > Mobile Service > Network Selection > Turn Automatic OFF.
