Lumia 640 on EE wifi calling stopped working after WP 8.1 upgrade to WP 10 - any ideas. Was working fine on WP 8.1 release 2!

Do you still see a WiFi Calling option in your settings?

Good Morning James & all at the EE Community,

Under Calling Preference, 'Wifi Preferred' is showing as an option and can
be selected.
However, the Wifi calling toggle button itself (as used in WP 8.1) is
missing.

Any guidance appreciated.

Does WiFi calling work when this option is selected?

To test, put your phone in airplane mode, then reactivate WiFi.

Hi James,

Unfortunately Wifi Calling does not work, even with the Wifi Preferred
option selected.

Putting phone into Airplane mode does not activate Wifi calling either, not
that I was expecting it to (as WP 8.1 didn't activate Wifi Calling on
Airplane mode, but did when this was deactivated).

Did you make sure to reactivate WiFi while still in airplane mode @Lumia640?

Yes, I did. It didn't work.
And I tried with Airplane mode off - again no luck.

It could be worth backing everything up and restoring your phone to factory settings.

Could you give that a try?

Hi Chris,

Tried a factory reset which took it back to a clean version of WP 10, with
the same issue. there was no option to go back to the original WP 8.1
release 2 it shipped with.
