Chrome OS

Hi, What will the Chrome OS allow me to do? I am interested in the Lenovo Ideapad 513 4G and the AcerSpin CHromebook. Can I run MS Word on these? And other Microsoft utilities? I also want to run programmes such as N1MM+ logger: https://n1mmwp.hamdocs.com/getting-started/introduction/#minimum-hardware-requirements and WSJT: https://wsjt.sourceforge.io/devel.html

Thanks for any knowledge!

The Chrome OS is Linux based. You can't run any MS or Windows applications on it. You could see if you can get a vers. of OpenOffice for it. Your 1st link says it requires Windows.

You need to check with any vendors that their products run on Chrome OS.
