SIM only signal issues

Since switching from an EE phone contract to a SIM only contract I am struggling to get signal to use internet when not connected to WiFi. My daughter's SIM only contract has the same issues but my husband's phone contract doesn't. We can be stood next to each other and he will have signal I won't. Can't be an issue with the phone as that's not changed and it is 2 SIM only contracts. 

Anyone else have this issue?

Try a 2way SIM-swap. Put the known working SIM in the non-working phone, and the non-working SIM in the working phone.

See if the problem follows the SIM or remains with the phone.
