block specific site on data

Hello. Bit embarrassing, this one. I'm addicted to online chess, and I want to block specific chess websites as a route to freedom!

Is there a way to block specific websites from loading when using EE mobile data?

Any advice appreciated!

Steve

Hi @Sahelsteve

Thanks for coming to the community.

You can change your content lock settings, this would be all sites but may stop you accessing any over 18 sites. To find out more information please see our How do I turn on parental controls on my device?, Help page.

Leanne.

Thanks, Leanne, but I already have those controls on. What I'm interested in is blocking a handful of chess sites, which of course aren't touched by the over 18 controls. This sort of site-specific blocking is easy with WIFI providers, and (since it clearly doesn't exist with EE mobile data) I feel like it would be a useful thing for EE to look at.

It should be a router facility, not a network 1, as it often is with real home BB routers.
