Travelling to UK from US, would like to purchase EE esim

I'll be travelling in May this year to the UK, and I was hoping to get an EE esim for my iPhone14 Max Pro before I leave the states.  Does EE sell esims to out of country residents?  It would be great to have one installed for when I take my phone off airplane mode when I walk off my flight!  thanks for any help!!!

I believe EE doesn't sell eSim plans on PAYG only on Contracts

Not sure if other providers provide eSim plans on PAYG

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 10.30pm every day.
