Mobile data no longer works

Loraalex

Hi, a few days ago my mobile data just stopped working completely. When I turn mobile data on nothing happens and I don’t even get the 3G/4G symbol come up to say it’s on anymore. I have tried all the online trouble shooting like resetting network setting, turning airplane mode on and off, taking sim out, switching from automatic network settings to choosing EE. I’ve even phoned EE they did a reset on my sim that didn’t work. I’ve been in store and had a new sim put in and still the same problem. I’ve tried another sim in my phone and the data turned on so isn’t my phone. I don’t know what else to do. Any help would be great.

Hi @Loraalex

I'd recommend checking for problems in your area using the Network & Coverage Tool.

Put in your postcode and choose your phone model, then click 'Check Status'.

If that shows as clear, have you tried manually selecting the EE network in your mobile data settings?

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks for coming here @Loraalex

If you give us a call on 150 the team can get this looked into in more detail for you to see what could be the reason for the data not working.
