My phone bill was supposed to come out on the 31st December 2022 through direct debit, on ‘My EE’ it shows that it’s been “Paid” but my bill payment hasn’t left my account, I would like to know if it’s actually been paid, or not?
I don’t think the app is quite accurate at the moment.

You could check your EE & bank account online, but otherwise need to contact EE C/S to check your specific account. There isn't any access to individual accounts on this forum.

As long as the money is in your bank, the money will be reserved by your bank as this was a Saturday and won't show until the next working day which as it's a bank holiday will be tomorrow. The EE app will show the payment as it's reserved.

When you're paying by DD it considered paid when the DD is applied for from your bank by EE on your bill date.
