I have a problem with my bill

When one of my pay monthly sims went down to pay as you go, I'd only just started a new tech add-on with that sim which had been removed.  Because I hadn't yet started paying for it, I asked for it to be moved over to one of my other currently active PM sims so I could pay for it over the two years I signed up to.  My bill however is now saying that I need to pay it off in one go, and with the extra £31 a month on top of the attachment.  I asked to move it over, not pay it in a lump sum.  How is this justifiable?

Add-ons are not transferable between nos. When the contract to which they are attached is cancelled, they are likewise cancelled & any early termination fee is liable to be paid.
