Hi all,
While I was on holiday in Dominica in the Caribbean, I received a number of calls from an international phone number. (It was from someone I knew). I did not have Roaming on my phone and he called me at times when I was not connected to the local WIFI network in that country. As a result, I was charged £137 for calls I received from an international number while I was on holiday in Dominica. I have been trying to find information on EE's website and in their terms and conditions regarding being charged for international calls on a UK mobile while traveling abroad outside of the EU, but can't find anything. Where can I find this information? Does EE have any written guidelines regarding how much they charge for receiving international calls on a UK mobile while abroad in the Caribbean?

It is roaming which enables your phone to connect to foreign networks, thus having a mobile network connection abroad proves roaming is active. What is your basis for thinking otherwise? WiFi-calling is not supported abroad, but roaming charges would apply if it happens to work.
Roaming charges are listed at https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs

It costs £2.34 per minute to receive or make calls from there. It is written in https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/countries/dominica
