Ok so my move from BT to EE hasn't gone well (I'll do both post about that). but here's a very horrible bug with the EE SmartHub plus and Smart WiFi extenders (and I can reproduce it at well, but support don't give a dam and aren't interested)
Setup : Smarthub Plus and 3 smart wifi plus extenders
The bug : You suffer a power failure (often happens on reboot as well but power outage is repeatably) Hub and extenders come online and all lights are solid Aqua. You connect via Wifi to the hub everything works. Move into range of an extender, wifi device will connect but you get no routing of internet traffic at all. I can see in my wifi mapping app they are all there and broadcasting and can see the hidden backhaul channel is up as well.
Workaround : restart each extender in turn and bingo they will work as they should.
