Can't make or receive calls since upgrade

I recently upgraded from a SIM only deal to a phone and SIM deal with EE. I have not received my new phone yet but all of a sudden my current phone will not make or receive calls. I am unable to contact EE through the 150 number as it just beeps 3 times and cuts out - same when I try every other phone number. EE has no chat function on its website so I have no way of contacting them to fix this other than write a letter...really?!?! I now have no way of anyone calling me or me calling them, and no way of contacting EE to fix this. Totally unacceptable!!!

What does it say next to the signal bars? Is it showing a signal? Are you getting any error messages?
