Been sent a new iPhone from EE that's blacklisted

Hi

Opened a new line, an iPhone 14, received the phone and sim won't work. Found out on online chat that it's been blacklisted. Not sure how ee can send out a new phone that's blacklisted. Not happy at the moment

They weren't sure how it happened, but I've just spoken to one of your excellent colleagues who's helped me through it and the phone is fine now. 😊

I'm not sure how that could happen. Seems like there may have been a mistake somewhere. What did our Mobile Care team say the next steps are?
