Air Pods faulty

Hello, I purchased an add-on of the Apple Air Pods in April 2020. They’re now having issues with sound quality/crackling and have been diagnosed as such by an Apple in store appointment.
Could I ask anyone who’s best placed where I stand with any potential cover I may be able to challenge EE on for replacement / covering costs to be replaced ?

Thank you,

Josh

@JN1988     You might want to read THIS   As you well outside the warranty period so the onus is on you to prove the fault was there when you got the product and it was always going to happen.     To be honest it’ll probably cost more to get an independent report than new AirPods yourself.
