Phone broken when sent for repair

I have a problem with my iPhone 12 mini, the sound not working, Ed arrange for courier to pick up my phone to be sent to repair centre long story short, the phone left me in mint condition it’s come back with scratches all over the screen and now want me to pay for the repair
