Help needed

I wonder if anyone can advise . I have had my phone a week tomorrow from my local EE shop. The phone the s23 is great but is not as good at staying connected to WiFi as my older one the a51. All the other phones laptops and tablets in the house have no problem. I have serious medical problems which mean I liase with the hospital several times a day re medicine doses. This drop in service has meant 2 emergency hospital tips this last week. I have no choice but to go and cancel this contract with them tomorrow as once it is past a week cos it was in store they won't do anything . The phone is generally slow anyway to be honest no matter whose wi fi it is connected to or wven on 4 or 5g. I am really gutted as they gave me an s22 a month ago which they took back as there were no notifications on there for emails which is vital for me. I have a long term serious life threatening medical.issue which every flare up I have could be my last . I just dread having to go back to the shop tomorrow to argue and cancel the contract. Just needed to vent.

@1609steph : You can take it back to the shop to try to cancel it but they could well refuse you as, unfortunately, there is no statutory cooling-off period for retail stores & EE shops do not offer any right of return. You do not show any mobile network problem, only WiFi which could be down to your router.

The router has been checked and if I put the sim in the old phone the A51 it works fine both on wi fi ond mobile data. However the new phone is awfully slow on any WiFi I try it on . I will buy out the whole 2 years if I have to and throw the phone . But I will take this all the way its made me so stressed

So I took out a new contract less than a week ago . The phone the s23 is not doing as expected and is very slow and faulty. Will not dtay connected to any wifi running below 500 mg. As I signed in shop they may not . I was on sim only of £20. My new contract price is £44 if I go back to the rolling sim only contract I was.on what would I have to pay up front . Hope this makes sense .
