SIM payment methods

hello. I'm a student who will be staying in the UK for 3 months. I want to buy a SIM because I heard that EE is the fastest among the UK carriers, but I need to have a UK account.

I can't get a UK account as I won't be in the UK long term, so I'd like to pay with Master Card, but is there any way?

I even went to the store to buy the ESIM, but they kept telling me they couldn't help me unless I had a card issued by a UK bank. Please, if there is a way to pay with an Master card, please let me know.

Check that EE's coverage is sufficient in the areas you will want to use your phone - https://coverage.ee.co.uk/coverage/ee and choose "check coverage"

Also ensure the phone you're planning to use is unlocked from its home network and will accept an EE SIM.

In order to have a pay-monthly account, you will need to pass a credit check & have a UK payment method. Your alternative is for a UK resident to be the account holder for you and be responsible for your usage - or to go on PAYG.

As you have no UK credit history you cannot buy a SIM-Only contract but will have to settle for a PAYG SIM. You can only top-up PAYG with a foreign bank card by calling CS.
