Addon purchase error

Hi there, I have purchased many add ons, but today, every time I try to buy an add on, a purchase error message comes up. It says they are working to fix it. This is for my ee mobile WiFi box so I can’t just ring to top up as it is not for my phone.
does anyone know if there are problems with this and if it’s going to be fixed? Thanks

@Nic012022 : Try using Fast Top-up online to pay by UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is your mobile no. & it doesn't remember your card details.

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC => 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC => 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC => 2022: EE 80 Meg FTTC (no landline number)
Thanks for that 😊 the trouble is I’m trying to add on unlimited data to my little WiFi box. If I just add credit, it won’t last very long!

Oh, I thought you said you couldn't top-up cuz it had to be by phone from your device.

Visit http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see what data add-ons are available.

I have exactly the same problem: I'm not in the UK right now and I don't have a UK bank card.

I can't buy the add-on I usually buy just before coming to the UK: same purchase error message since I tried yesterday...

How can I buy new data?? (I want an add-on, not a pack).

I've tried from 2 different computers + my phone.

I tried that, and it’s great advise…. The trouble is it automatically takes me to do that with my contract phone and doesn’t allow me to change to my WiFi box number. I will have to ring EE it’s just difficult when you can’t really make calls at work 😞

Are you doing it from a phone? If so, the phone must be connected by WiFi to the router, not to the mobile network. That way it can't possibly be seeing your phone no. If necessary disable Mobile Data on the phone.
