Back from abroad and phone says sim not working

I’ve just come back from California due to a close family member passing away I have come back and my sim says “no sim” or “no SIM restricted” I pay monthly and I can’t call 150 because I can’t make calls the app isn’t helping what can I do??

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your family member. 

Are you able to try the SIM card in another phone to see if you get signal? 

Do you have a pay as you go or pay monthly account?

I pay monthly and yes the same happens

Hi @11Sarah11 

You would need a replacement SIM card as it does sound like the SIM has become faulty. 

You can order a replacement SIM card by giving us a call on 150 or 07953 966 150 and the team can get the SIM card posted to your account address, or you can visit an EE Store with photo ID to get the replacement.

I can’t make any calls and I tried 150 of my friends phone and that doesn’t work.

If they are not on EE, you would need to call 07953 966 150 or you can visit an EE Store with photo ID to get the replacement.
