SmartHub 5G wifi vs ethernet- not much difference in speed

Hi!

I've been using SmartHub 5G for only a few days so far. I tested Ethernet connection on my Macbook, assuming bandwith test would show a noticeable difference in speed. However, it only improved slightly so I'm not quite sure whether I'm doing something wrong, maybe you guys have some useful tips. I am not sure whether I'm already using the max speed available to me.

For reference, I'm running MacOS Sonoma on a 2021 MacBook Pro, and used a Ethernet to USB-C dongle (2.5gbps) as my Macbook doesn't have an ethernet port. Only one device is connected to SmartHub 5G.

For comparison,

wireless speedtest result: 242/32

ethernet speedtest result: 357/40

Any advice would be highly appreciated. Not sure if getting an antenna would help, using a specific ethernet to usb-c dongle, or play with some settings.

I'm not sure what you are complaining about. Ethernet is significantly faster, by 48%, than WiFI.

I thought it could be higher, not sure what a realistic expectation is 😃
