We’ve successfully installed our 4G network in the Channel tunnel and people have been experiencing download speeds of up to 57 Mbps. 282GB of data has been carried since we installed our equipment in September.

Customers have seen peak speeds of 57 Mbps in the tunnel, with an average of 13.5 Mbps. That means channel tunnel travellers can stream HD video, download large files and use video calling while travelling 75 metres underground at up to 99 MPH.

4G+: How does it work?
