I've been out of contract for a while so decided to upgraded, had the phone for 5 days, never inserted the SIM, the WIFI on it is awfull, when I asked if I could return the phone and go back onto what I was paying EE informed me that because it was bought in the store I'm not eligible for a return. So now I'm stuck with a phone I dont like and another 24 month contract.
I will be cancelling my broadband & mobile when out of contract and will never use again.
Unhappy West Cumbrian...

Welcome to the community.
The person you have spoken to was correct. There isn't a change of mind policy for contracts taken in store.
What is the problem with the WiFi on the phone? We'll try and help you.

@ottosump Wi-Fi quality on the phone has nothing to do with EE or your contract with EE, but have you tried restarting your router and the device? There is no change of mind with a store purchase but you do have 12 days to go back to the store and have a faulty device looked at and if faulty exchanged.
