Would like to change to EE from Lebara, brought a SIM only monthly plan online and SIM card was dispatch on 12 Sept 2023. I would like to port in my current phone number to EE at the end of September.  Pop my new EE SIM today (22 Sept 2023) and login to my EE account today found that my plan was already started from 14 Sept 2023 and will finish on 13 Oct 2023 even I didn't pop my new EE SIM and port in before, and I had already waste for 9 days usage?? How come is it??

You sure you are on contract & not on PAYG? PAYG packs last 30 days.

That’s my plan. How come the plan not start by the date I pop in my SIM card?

OK, that's a 30-day contract.

When did you receive the SIM? Looks like EE was counting on you receiving it on the 14th.

I think it was received on 14 Sept as the invoice show it dispatched on 12 Sept.

In which case that's when your contract started. It's of no concern to EE as to when you started using it. They provided you with service from the 14th whether or not you choose to use it.
