Hi All,
I’ve been an EE broadband customer for around 6 months with the standard EE router.
I generally have good signal strength across the whole house and even as I write this my iPhone XR shows full signal strength… However, regularly while on WiFi I am unable to load websites, Instagram, games or anything else that requires internet access - despite seemingly having full WiFi connection on any device used and the router showing no problems.
I’m not on full fibre broadband, so I can only think that this is a poor connection from EE or a bad router.
Does anyone suffer anything similar or does anyone know how I can improve the service I have?

Welcome to EE's Home Broadband Forum.
If you would like help with your BB speed or connection issues, please would you carry out the following steps for starters, which will enable us to diagnose the problem and advise you further. Do not restart your router to do these tests:
1. Post your full router stats:
Full router stats are key to any speed & connection issues.
2. Try a wired speedtest, using an Ethernet cable supplied with the router, here http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html . Click on the "Results Page" button at the bottom of the graph you first see and then copy to here just the "Link to this result:" link that you see below the next main graph.
3. What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker, not the Postcode Checker.

Don’t know if I can upload photos. Got an email?

Don't worry they will appear shortly, just need approval.

I will leave this for @XRaySpeX to respond in more detail, but it would seem your issue is with wireless reception not the broadband.

Now my point 2 please? Do it both wired & wireless.

Oh sorry lad, I don’t have any devices that can use an Ethernet cable.
no laptops, no computers, just 2 iPhones and an iPad.

Then do the speedtest over WiFi. All the better as your WiFi is suspect.
