EE Smart hub plus settings

I have switched off 2.4 GHz in the Advanced settings on my Smart hub plus and saved it. It showed as 'off' on the Home page. But it gets switched on again after a while. This has happened twice since I installed the router yesterday. Any advice how I can prevent this? Didn't have this issue on my BT Smart hub 2.

Likely your SH+ has upgraded the firmware and switched WIFI back on.

Happens with my SH+ every time there is an update and I have to go back and turn WIFI off when I notice it.  Causes interference when it turns back on with my existing WIFI setup.

EE tech need to fix this in the firmware but I expect it will never be.

Thanks.Yes, it could be a firmware upgrade on the SH+ installation day.  It hasn't happened since then. Fingers crossed 🤞
