poor volume on incoming calls voices sound muffled

Just switched to EE from BT poor volume on incoming and outgoing calls voices sound muffled had no problems with this before I switched, I have a Galaxy A12

Are you using the same phone as you had when with BT Mobile?

Is your phone in a case, and if so is it the same without?

Does it make any difference if you're using a speakerphone, headset or the normal phone speaker?
