I have a PAYGO account, originally Orange. I have £11 credit, no packs or add-ons that I am aware of, and 0B of data. I can make calls and send texts, but have no access to mobile data. How do I obtain true PAYGO data, ie no time limit on the data, calls or text? I have very low usage requirements.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@rew45 : You can't use data w/out buying a pack or data add-on. Calls & texts are charged on a per-unit basis to your credit, but data can't.

Thank you for your reply. However, in the OP I asked :-
> How do I obtain true PAYGO data, ie no time limit on the data, calls or text?
So is it possible to purchase a pack or add-on WHICH DOESN'T TIME OUT? If not, then this is not a solution to my problem.

All data is time limited, usually to 30 days. As said earlier only true PAYG would be calls and texts bought any time you have credit.

Thank you. In the past, and certainly when this was an Orange account, data came out of credit. Yet another case of reduced service at increased cost. I will vote with my CC and move to GiffGaff.
