Sim Card - no sim

Anyone had an issue where your SIM card randomly says “no sim”?, even though you have been using the sim all day everyday? This issue has just happened to me on my iPhone.

Landline not working...broadband is

My landline is not working. No dial tone, and has constant engaged tone when someone rings it. Broadband however is working, although a bit slower.  My cordless phone shows the message please check line cord.  Can anyone suggest or solve the problem
