Today I received the offer from EE for Apple Music by text. I replied, clicked on the link,downloaded the app etc.

When entering my details i have been given a 3 month trial from Apple.

There was no link to my EE subscription and i also did not receive an activation PIN.

Could you please shine some light on this?

Are you using Apple or Android?

 

You don't receive an activation PIN for Apple Music unless using over WiFi.

 

When you click on the link, this verifies your EE Subscription.

 

All the steps for setting up are on the Apple Music Help Page.

 

Let me know if you manage to get it sorted.

Hi Karen

I'm on android  (galaxy s7 ). I've tried using both methods, wifi and network. I've created an apple ID but seemed to be signed up to an apple music 3 month trial which expires 15 Dec 2016. Will the EE offer continue after this date, or have  I done something wrong?

Have you cancelled your subscription you had previously?

Yep I've cancelled the automatic renewal but that's the only subscription on there. Nothing that says I'm subscribed with EE

Hi.

 

I am an existing apple music subscriber. I have recently upgraded to a new Sim only plan.

Having sent the text and received the activation link, I open it to a brief pink screen and nothing follows this.

 

My question may or may not have been answered, however I can't seem to find the solution...

 

What do I need to do to make sure Apple music continues following my renewal date, using the EE 6 month offer (which is now activated on my EE account), as the link has not worked and I can't seem to link my apple music and EE accounts at all?

 

I have turned off automatic renewall for my current Apple music subscription.

Hi there, 

I got on a new contract on the 13th of September with EE. I recieved the text from 150, that opens the apple music app but does not allow me to register for the 6  month free trial. 

I have spoken to both apple and ee on the matter, and have spent way too much of my own time trying to get this sorted. I have tried EVERYTHING and have done EVERYTHING asked of me by both apple and ee, so please do not respond by asking me to "try this" and "try that". 

When I text 150 with MUSIC, it states that I do indeed have a membership and that it will expire on the 13th of March 2017, so obviously something has just gone very badly wrong. 

I would really appreciate if someone could rectify this ongoing problem for me. I was advised by the senior customer manager in my local ee store to get in contact with help on the community, and this is my last resort.

So I can try and help, what is the exact issue you are having with the apple music app.

 

With it saying your subscribed what happens when you try to play any tracks.

I pretty much set it out as clear as possible above in the message. 

The link brings me into the apple music app but it just gives me options of buying a plan. 

 

When I try and play songs, it brings me to the plans option again. 

ALSO, as I already stated, this has been looked at by both ee tech and apple tech, and none can come to a resolution.

I understand your frustration with this one, but here on the Community we do not have any access to customer accounts.

 

Have you had a subscription previously?

 

If this is an issue, it will have to be escalated to the next levels in our tech teams.

yes I had a subscription but that has since expired in march 2016 so shouldn't be the cause of anything
