They pulled the phones this morning as 35 customers in 2.5 million have had issues. Which if fair. Samsung will prep the new units and do a non disruptive swap. However i am concerned that EE will demand the handset back and leave me without a workphone in the meantime. I have insurance with them but the temp phone they gibe you is so old and didnt cope with my work emails properly when i had to repair a phone a year or so ago.
Either way this apple music still is not working for me. I have seen a just for you screen but that just asks me to setup an account or log in. The 6 months still does not activate.
Silly question but have you managed to play a song via the Apple music account?

Yes I have downloaded a couple albums and I can play them, but some albums don't allow me to have the full tracks and when I try to play the greyed out ones they state item not available

I would like to know when this offer first became available. As a recently upgrading customer to EE on 31/07/2016, I would like to know the date this began as it states apple music needs to be added within 30 days.
If so - we would like to opportunity for this to be available as EE did not contact us to let us know of this offer which is dissapointing.

This service went live on 01/09/16 and has been quite heavily advertised online and on tv, and unfortunately ur upgrade date falls just short of the 30 days upgrade window. Albeit by just 1 day

That will be because not all music is available in Apple Music due to licensing issues with either the record label/artists. I get the same, some albums I'll be able to place all but one song which shows as greyed out becuase it's not available for streaming, it woulnd need to be purchased seperatley

Upgraded to the 16gb sim only deal for 19.99 which included 2 separate discount add ons bringing it down from the original £34
Just added the 6 month Apple Music and but now cannot see the discount add ons on my online account. Does anyone know If this has removed the discount?
If it has it would be nice for Ee to tell you

Hi @bonesey1980 Normally the discounts are not shown it will show as the full price and the discount will be applied when your bill is produced each month

I have an existing Student Apple Music subscription. Am I incompatible with this offer?
I just preordered an iPhone 7 Plus, so I expect to be eligible for the 6 months free but what do people who already subscribe to Apple Music get and as asked above what about Students? I'd be concerned about ending up on the grown up subscription pricing if I tried to use this offer.

Hi, my upgrade date was 31/08/2016 for the Note 7 (which has since been sent back).
As I am without my upgrade handset, am I able to delay the the Apple Music subscription until I have the new Note 7?
Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome back to the Community!
I've just a look at the Apple Student Offer and it doesn't need to be continuous.
So as long as you're eligible for the offer from EE, you can have the 6 months free then revert back to the student offer once the 6 months are up.
Hope this helps!
Thanks - Karen.

Hi thanks for pointing that out Karen. That gives me confidence to cancel the Student subscription when I get my EE 6 months through. Then I'll cancel the EE one before being charged full price and reactivate the Student one.

I haven't suscribed to it yet. Just hope that I can still suscribe if my Note 7 arrives after the 30-days window.

I think the 30-day thing is attached to the contract. Not the device. So it's whenever your contract starts. Does it appear started in your My EE? Did you text MUSIC to 150 and get the 'sorry' message?

I haven't suscribed to it yet, as my Note 7 was recalled and sent back.
Hopefully, there is an extension to the 30-days window, as although the contract has started, the handset is not yet in possession.

I already had a Family Apple Music subscription prior to the offer launching with EE.
The offer is great but can I pay the extra per month for a Family membership rather than Individual membership?
If I take up the offer from EE my family will be disconnected from Apple Music.
Is there any where that this can be chosen?
