why do i have 'sim registration failed'??

Hi there, I have a PAYG mobile that is used on rare occassions but when I have come to use it now it tells me 'Sim registration failed'.

Why is this & can it be undone please??

Hello @Gr33nie have you text, called or topped the phone up in the last 6months? After 6months of inactivity PAYG account are deactivated and the recycling process started. If this is the case customer service on 150 from an EE phone or 07953 966 250 from any other may be able to re-activate it depending on how long has passed.
