my lg g3 phone won't get to the stage where i put in the unlock code. 

I follow the instructions given to me by EE, and get to Service Provider Lock, but when i click on this, it says "this phone is permanently locked and cannot be unlocked".

I have spoken with LG, who assure me the phone is not permanently locked. They also took me through the process to unlock it, but we came to the same situation and message. They suggetsed i contact EE again.

This is a very strange one.

 

So I can try and help, may I know if you still have a connection with ourselves on pay as you go or pay monthly?

I am still contracted until the end of January.

I have paid for and received the code, but cannot get to input it.
