I have just recently got a new phone and i want to use my old number, so i got PAC code and filled in the form. i then got an email saying it should take 24 hours to complete it has now been 4 days and nothing has happened. how do i know when my old number is usable on my new phone?

@sophie2004 That will not work, you can not move a number like that. You need to move it to another network on payg and then move it back to EE.

If your number transfer request was completed after 5pm on Thursday your number transfer should happen today.
If it was before 5pm, it should have completed on Friday.
If it's not completed by the end of the day, please get in touch so we can help.

i filled in the form at 17:20 on Thursday so will wait until tomorrow if nothing happens i will get in touch again.

If it transfers today @sophie2004 you should get a little EE signal on your phone, meaning you can use your services.
I'd advise every couple of hours, if you have the time and patience to switch the phone off and on again, sometimes that can help speed things up.
@James_B has gone home for the night, so that's why I have jumped in and tried to help.

So James said if nothing happened by the end of yesterday to get in touch again and now it is the next evening and nthing has happened what do i do?
