I would like to unlock my ee40VB-2ae8gb3 so that I can use it in another country when I travel, instead of buying another modem for this purpose,
Currently, I have travelled to Iraq, and I have bought a 4G Sim Card, but it has the frequency of 40TDD (2300 MHz), My question is that, does my modem chipset support band 40?
I searched online, but it seems it doesn't support it, but I wonder if the chipset itself support it or not.

Welcome to the community.
The device is intended for EE and UK frequency bands, as far as I can recall from the box label, LTE (1, 8), 3, 7, 20 with no TDD support.

Thank you for your answer on my post,
I doubt the chipset only support these bands mentioned on the box, or on the internet, I think the chipset might support more bands, do know the chipset model?
