Why was I cut off?

Why has my ee service been cut off BEFORE the requested unlock codes were supplied?

Typical of this cowboy operation. And the website must rank as one of the most useless I have ever come across.

Re: Why was I cut off?

Did you cancel your contract whilst requesting your device to be unlocked?

Your device does not need to be live in order to unlock it.

Re: Why was I cut off?

Hi @Bassman1

Welcome to the community.

When and how did you request your cancellation?

Are you moving your number to another network, to pay as you go or just cancelling the number outright?

I'll do my best to help.

Re: Why was I cut off?

Moving network.  TEN DAYS to supply an unlock code? My local phone shop did it in less than ten minutes!

Re: Why was I cut off?

Yes, it can take up to 10 days to unlock a device @Bassman1

By giving your PAC to the new network, you have requested to move your number. The new network usually ports your number the next working day.

Thanks

Chris
