What is np code

My phone has somehow blocked or something!

It just keeps saying "input np code" ...what or where do I find this?

@Gillyt4 : It means your phone is locked to particular provider. Is this a phone you got from EE? Are you trying to put another network's SIM in it? To do that you would need it to be unlocked by EE.

Yes it's an EE phone. And no not trying different SIM..the SIM works in another phone . The phone is normal till I put SIM in ! That's when it asks for np code! I've no idea what happened!
