I've applied to unlock my phone using the online form and I just got a text message saying that I needed to contact customer services because my account wasn't correctly registered. How can I do this as I am abroad right now?

@Sophkitty There is no email as emails are too slow to deal with customer issues, if your a contract customer ou can log into your online account and wait for a live chat window to pop up you can then use it to chat to customer services unfortunately live chat is not for pay-as-you-go customers so you’ll have to call.

You can only use the online form if you yourself purchased the device direct from EE. Did you?
